Game Overview
Super Battle Cards (SBC) is a casual, fast-paced card-swiping game developed at Baltoro Games. Players take on the role of a dwarf exploring dungeons filled with various enemies. The game is designed for short, engaging sessions, making it easy to pick up and play. Released on both mobile and Nintendo Switch, SBC combines simple mechanics with a high degree of accessibility.
Developed under a tight timeline, the game was created by a small team of three—a designer, artist, and developer. Despite these constraints, the game was successfully completed and released.
My Role
As a game designer at Baltoro Games, I was responsible for creating new, simple mechanics and presenting these concepts to the team and management. Over time, I gained more creative freedom to pursue promising ideas. For Super Battle Cards, I handled the entire design process, including concept creation, game design, balance, and user experience. I worked closely with the artist and developer to bring the game from idea to final product within a limited development window.
